    Ingredients
      

    • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
    • ¾ teaspoon baking powder
    • ½ teaspoon salt
    • ½ cup unsalted butter room temperature
    • ¾ cup sugar
    • 1 large egg room temperature
    • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
    • 1 tablespoon milk

    Instructions
     

    • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
    • In the bowl cream together butter and granulated sugar on medium speed for 2 minutes, Add the egg, vanilla, and milk and blend for 30 seconds until smooth and fluffy Add the flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix on low until fully incorporated.
    • Chill the cookie batter for 10-15 minutes.
    • Scoop ½ teaspoon-sized batter onto a baking sheet lined with parchment. (about 1 inch apart)
    • Bake for 12-15 minutes, until the cookies are golden brown.
    • Allow to cool completely before serving.
