    This Single serve Mug brownie recipe is special to me because it’s a quick and easy dessert I turn to when I'm craving something sweet but don't want to spend hours in the kitchen. The combination of brown sugar and cocoa creates that rich, satisfying flavor we all love in chocolate desserts. Plus, you can customize it with your favorite toppings for a little extra indulgence!

    Recipe Ingredients

    Unsalted Butter: 1 ½ Tablespoons, softened for easy mixing.

    Light Brown Sugar: 2 Tablespoons, packed for a rich sweetness.

    Egg Yolk: 1, to add richness and structure to the cake.

    Vanilla Extract: ¼ teaspoon, for that classic warmth and depth of flavor.

    Cocoa Powder: 3 teaspoons, unsweetened for a bold chocolate taste.

    All-Purpose Flour: 1 Tablespoon, to provide the right texture.

    Pinch of Salt: just a dash to enhance the flavors.

    Chocolate Chips: ½ Tablespoon, for extra melty chocolate goodness.

    Combine the butter and sugar. Microwave for 30 seconds

    Add the egg yolk, vanilla extract

    Whisk until the mixture lightens 

    Add in cocoa powder, flour, salt and baking powder


    Add chocolate chips and fold to distribute.

    Bake for roughly 15 t0 17 minutes

    Allow to cool slightly before eating!

    • 1 Tablespoon all-purpose flour
    • pinch of salt
    • ½ Tablespoon chocolate chips

    Method
     

    1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease cup with cooking spray Set aside.
    2. combine the butter and sugar. Microwave for 30 seconds, stir to combine, add the egg yolk, vanilla extract, Whisk until the mixture lightens
    3. Add in cocoa powder, flour, salt and baking powder, fold together add chocolate chips and fold to distribute.
    4. Bake for roughly 15 t0 17 minutes. Allow to cool slightly before eating!
