What makes this recipe truly special is its simplicity and versatility. Growing up, my family would often make brownie batter as a fun treat, and this recipe takes that nostalgic delight to a whole new level. The ability to enjoy brownies in waffle form is a game changer, and the best part? You likely have all the ingredients in your pantry already! It’s a wonderful way to share a little love and sweetness with those around you.

    Recipe Ingredients

Peanut butter: ½ cup, creamy or crunchy for added texture.

Large egg: 1, to bind the ingredients together.

Unsweetened cocoa powder: ¼ cup, for that rich chocolate flavor.

Salt: A pinch, to enhance the sweetness of the chocolate.

Semi-sweet chocolate chips: 2 tablespoons, adding delightfully melted pockets of chocolate.

Combine peanut butter, egg, cocoa powder, salt and chocolate chips

Pour half of the batter into the center of the hot plates.

Cook for 2-3 minutes or till easily removed from the waffle iron

Tips and Tricks to Nail the Recipe

    • Make sure your waffle iron is preheated properly to avoid sticking.
    • The batter should be pourable; don’t hesitate to adjust the water as needed.
    • Feel free to substitute the semi-sweet chocolate chips with dark or white chocolate for different flavor profiles.
    • Serve your brownie waffles with a drizzle of honey or maple syrup, and add extra chocolate chips on top for a heavenly finish!
