- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- To serve
- 6 green olives pitted
- 6 mini mozzarella balls drained
- 6 sun-dried tomatoes in oil
- 6-8 mini breadsticks
- Basil leaves to serve
Instructions
- Toast walnuts in a dry skillet over medium low ,tossing frequently
- Place basil, garlic, walnuts, cheese, salt and pepper in a food processor
- Process until fully combine, add lemon juice
- With the food processor running, slowly stream in olive oil
- Pulse until smooth pesto
- In a long thin appetizer cup, Add one tablespoon Walnut basil Pesto followed by mozzarella ball , olive, sun-dried tomato and mini breadstick Drizzle with some olive oil , top with basil leaves and serve!
