    Recipe Ingredients

    Chickpeas: 1 can (15 oz), drained and rinsed; the base for our hummus.

    Peanut Butter: ¼ cup; adds creaminess and a rich flavor.

    Honey: 2 tablespoons; for a hint of natural sweetness.

    Salt: A pinch; to enhance the overall flavor.

    Lemon Juice: 1 tablespoon; provides a fresh, tangy contrast.

    Rub chickpea between paper towels and remove the skins

    Combine chickpeas, peanut butter, honey, lemon juice and salt .

    Tips and Tricks to Nail the Recipe

    • Rub the drained chickpeas between paper towels to remove the skins easily; this extra step makes your hummus extra smooth!
    • If you prefer a thinner consistency, simply add 1-2 teaspoons of cold water while processing until you reach your desired texture.
    • Feel free to substitute almond butter or sunbutter if you want a nut-free option.
    • This hummus is wonderful served with graham crackers, sliced apples, or even just eaten straight off the spoon!

    Ingredients
      

    • 1 can 15 oz chickpeas, drained and rinsed
    • ¼ cup peanut butter
    • 2 tablespoons honey
    • Pinch of salt
    • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

    Instructions
     

    • Rub the drained and rinsed chickpea between two large paper towels to remove the skins
    • Combine chickpeas, peanut butter, honey ,lemon juice, and salt in a bowl of food processor.
    • While processing, add 1-2 teaspoons of cold water, until the hummus is smooth and creamy. Add more water for a thinner consistency
    • Serve with graham crackers, sliced apples, or eat it right off the spoon
