Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- ½ cup chopped pecans
- 1 cup butter
- ¾ cup powdered sugar divided
- ½ teaspoon vanilla
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325 degrees.
- in a medium bowl, beat butter with ½ cup of powdered sugar, add the flour, chopped pecans and vanilla , mix all ingredients until you get a soft dough. Chill the dough for 30 minutes, scoop out the 1 tablespoon dough and shape into a ball,and arrange on a baking sheet
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until lightly browned and golden bottoms roll the warm cookies in the remaining bowl of sugar to coat. Cool on a wire rack.
