Are you looking for a delightful dessert that is both easy to make and irresistibly tasty? Try these delicious Air Fryer Baked Apples ! With the warm flavors of cinnamon and brown sugar, these treats are perfect for fall or any time you crave a cozy dessert.

This Air Fryer Baked Apples recipe is special to me because it combines two of my favorite ingredients: apples and pecans. Growing up, my family would often make baked apples during the autumn months, and this air fryer version takes that classic dish to a whole new level. Not only do you get that sweet, comforting flavor, but the air fryer makes them quick and easy to prepare!

    Recipe Ingredients

2 medium apples: Choose your favorite variety, such as Granny Smith or Honeycrisp, for added sweetness and flavor.

¼ cup brown sugar: This will create a rich, caramel-like flavor in your filling.

½ teaspoon cinnamon: A must-have spice to bring warmth and depth to the dish.

1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted: Adds moisture and richness to the oat filling.

¼ cup rolled oats: Provides a delightful texture and heartiness.

¼ cup chopped pecans: Offers a crunchy contrast to the soft apples.

Ice cream, for serving (optional): A creamy scoop on top takes this dessert to the next level!

Cut the apple in half and scoop out the core and seeds.

combine oats, brown sugar, chopped pecans ,butter, and cinnamon

Stuff the oat filling evenly into all apple halves

Air fry for 13 to 15 minutes

Tips and Tricks to Nail the Recipe

    • Make sure to preheat your air fryer to ensure even cooking and perfect browning.
    • Leftover stuffed apples can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days; just reheat them in the air fryer when you're ready to enjoy.
    • Feel free to substitute walnuts or almonds for the pecans if you prefer a different nut flavor.
    • Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an extra indulgent treat!
