Indulge in the tropical flavors of this luscious mango pudding! With its silky texture and vibrant color, this Mango Panna Cotta is not just a treat for the palate but also a feast for the eyes. Perfect for warm weather or any occasion that calls for something sweet, this mango pudding is sure to transport you to a sun-soaked paradise.

This Mango Panna Cotta recipe holds a special place in my heart, as it was a beloved dessert in my family gatherings. The delightful taste of fresh mangoes blended with creamy ingredients brings back memories of laughter and joy around the dining table. It’s simple yet impressive, making it a go-to choice for both casual occasions and festive celebrations!

    Recipe Ingredients

Mango pulp: 1½ cups, the star ingredient that adds natural sweetness and flavor.

Light cream: 1.25 cups, for a creamy and smooth texture.

Whole milk: 1 cup, used to lighten the cream and enhance creaminess.

Agar agar powder: 1.5 teaspoons, a vegetarian alternative to gelatin, used as a setting agent.

Water: ¼ cup, for soaking the agar agar strands.

Sugar: ½ cup, adjust to your taste to enhance the sweetness.

Vanilla extract or essence: ½ teaspoon, for an aromatic lift in flavor.

Lemon zest: ¼ teaspoon, to add a delicate citrus note that brightens the pudding.

Bring to a simmer whisking regularly.

    Add vanilla, stir and Pour

Tips and Tricks to Nail the Recipe

    • Soak the agar agar properly for a few minutes to ensure it dissolves completely when heated.
    • If not serving immediately, keep the pudding chilled in the fridge, and it will maintain its pleasant texture.
    • Feel free to experiment with substitutions; coconut milk can be used instead of cream and milk for a dairy-free version.
    • Serve with fresh mango cubes or a drizzle of mango coulis for an extra touch of festivity!
