    This Almond Florentines recipe is special to me because it brings back fond memories of baking with my grandmother. We would spend hours in the kitchen experimenting with different flavors and enjoying the sweet aroma filling the air. These Lace Cookies remind me of those cherished moments and the joy of sharing homemade treats with loved ones.

    Recipe Ingredients

    Unsalted Butter: ½ cup, for that rich base flavor.

    Granulated Sugar: ½ cup, to add sweetness to the cookies.

    Honey: 2 tablespoons, for a natural sweetness and depth of flavor.

    Heavy Cream: ¼ cup, to create a luscious texture.

    Blanched Sliced Almonds: 1 cup, adding crunch and nutty flavor.

    All-Purpose Flour: 2 tablespoons, to help bind the ingredients.

    Dark Chocolate: 100 gms, for drizzling on top for a decadent finish.

    Gentle simmer for 2-3 minutes 

    Coat almonds evenly

    Drop a tablespoon of the batter onto a baking sheet

    Melt chocolate pieces in a double broiler 

    Drizzle with melted chocolate

    Ingredients
      

    • ½ cup unsalted butter
    • ½ cup granulated sugar
    • 2 tablespoons honey
    • ¼ cup heavy cream
    • 1 cup blanched sliced almonds
    • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
    • 100 gms dark chocolate

    Instructions
     

    • In a saucepan over medium heat, add the butter, sugar, honey, and heavy cream.
    • Combine and bring it to a gentle simmer for 2-3 minutes
    • Add the Almonds and flour
    • Remove the pan from heat Mix everything well, making sure the almonds are evenly coated
    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Drop a tablespoon of the batter onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, spacing them 2-3 inches apart. Gently spread it out thinly with the back of a spoon. Bake for 6-8 minutes or until the cookies turn lace-like golden around the edges.
    • Place chocolate pieces in the bowl and Melt in a double broiler
    • Allow the cookies to cool for 8- 10 minutes, Once completely cooled Drizzle with melted chocolate and enjoy!
